Our Blinds

Faux Wood

What are Faux wood venetian blinds? Faux wood, meaning (false wood) are a very modern take on the old venetian blinds which were made of either wood or aluminium. Faux wood venetian blinds are made of solid PVC and mimic real wood therefore making them much cheaper and more durable than real wood.

Roller blinds are a long tried and tested blinds. They come in hundreds of different colours and fabric styles. Blackout roller blinds are great for children’s bedrooms or rooms where you want total privacy. All my roller blinds are colour tested in a light box to make sure they keep their sharpness over the years.

Vertical blinds are a very versatile blind. Strips of fabric are used on a track which uses carriers that can tilt giving an open or closed position. Vertical blinds can be tilted to give privacy or to shade a room following the suns path around the room.

Venetian blinds are horizontal slats that can be tilted to give protection from the sun or just giving privacy. Usually made from either real wood or aluminium but these days the faux wood is much more in demand.

Wood Venetian

Real wooden venetian blinds bring a unique and natural feel to a room. Wooden blinds can be cheap or quality. We use quality wood which has been kiln dried several times before being cut into slats. This process ensures that most warping of the wood has already occurred.

Perfect Fit

Perfect fit blinds are used on PVC windows and no screws are used. It is a frame with a blind inset into it. The frame is clipped in using L shaped slim brackets which slide in between the glass and the rubber seal. The frame is then clipped into place using the brackets.

Pleated blinds are a sandwich of two blinds laminated together to give a solid pleat. Sliding up and down on either a free hang style or using tensioned filo wires as in a perfect fit blind or in conservatory roofs.

Roman blinds, the most opulent and stylish of all the blinds. Raising in pleats and made of soft fabrics. All our roman blinds have a memory retentive fabric which basically means that even if the blind is lowered for months at a time it will still retain its original pleat when raised.
